Project: U.S.S. RAVEN
The USS Raven – ein Science-Research-ship which is a non-military vessel of the Federation and can not be commanded by Starfleet. Therefore is her Registration number NAR-32450 instead of NCC 32450.
As known was the Raven the Science vessel where Anika Hansen’s aka Seven of Nine’ parents are exploring the Borg.
You may have seen, the U.S.S. Discovery is annoying me, wherefore i decided to increase my modelling skills. For something like small shuttles it would be enough, but if iam resizing the Discovery i would get big problems because iam “skil-less”.
Wie bekannt, nervt mich die U.S.S. Discovery weswegen ich meine Skills im Modelieren massiv ausbauen muss. Dort wo es für kleine Shuttles noch reicht, treffe ich spätestens bei der Discovery auf arge Probleme durch “Nichtkönnen”. Nach dem Motto, “slow and steady wins the race” i do start to increase my skills.
The Reason for the Raven is – it is easily buildable. Just some Squares, some triangles and it is ready..
As template i do use the eaglemoss model which can be purchased. for low money, you get goot and detailed modells. For sure i still need to use the Internet for comparison reasons but almost all details are matching. The Size is something i need to recalculate as the Eaglemoss version is 1:750 but i do need 1:1400 which do i need. According to that, even reviewing without Lineal you can see that the size is almost the half of the original scale just with 1-2mm discrepany.
