I was again on eBay. eBay is always worth a journey, and you will find something cheap you would not buy for the original price.
Sisko as the bust is one of those items. This guy was falling down and the hand and the phaser riffle are not surviving. I do think it can’t be too hard to fix it, but as there was no pic of the defect available, it was more like a mystery box.
He gots delivered in the original sales packaging together with a small magazine and all the other stuff, the broken part are delivered in an extra envelope. Those parts are in better conditions then originally thought. it is simply the phaser riffle broken.
After a small review, I do realize that simply a small triangle from 1mm length is missing. All the broken areas are plan broken and some minimum color is missing.
I would prefer non plan broken areas with up and downs because they can be easier fixed and the glue is better at sticking everything together. with plan broken areas I do have to glue it again if I tick hard against it. for that reason, I do decide to use a small shaft for stabilizing it and it was required for me to get the first paper clip for years.
I drilled a small hole in the middle of each broken area. I do clap the paperclip in 1.5cm long shafts and do glue them into the hole with superglue which I have purchased via Amazon.
After a longer drying period, only a small gap was visible. normally I would take the Revell Plasto to fill it but this would absolutely mean I have to grind it, for that reason I was dropping the same fast-drying glue on the location several times to ensure there is a planned area
Again it was drying for two days and used a satin-matt finish from Revell to paint the surface in grey
The final Phaser rifle was fixed to the hand and again, after drying, I was sticking the band to it and painted it black.
