This Figurine is so far my absolute favorite of the Femme Fatales of the Diamond Select series.

Within the nineties was one comic artist was spawn as a star. David A Mack, who has a totally exciting painting style and is extremely different from the other painters. His Series Kabuki is in my eyes a good characteristic.

This is not a Batgirl, nor Captain Marvel or Scarlet Witch, or whatever.

UKIKO, like the figure, is named, has to offer a lot.

THE EYES! I do photograph the eyes from a different angle. Even in this angle, it looks like the eyes are following you. That’s not only from this angle fact but can also happen from a lot of different positions.

The Face is painted in white within the comic series and is styled like the Japanese Kabuki Masks. The Figure has on the left side a tear that shouldn’t be a real tear that is rolling down the face and should only display a painted tear.

Below is a total turnaround of the figurine which can be perfectly watched in Galery Mode. You would see how gracile she is built.

The Figurine has a chain that is connected to a weapon and looks like a reaping hook. her right hand is forming a hole and the chain is going through it which is connected to an iron ball.

The chain is a real metal chain and is normally golden or silver color used in the jewelry industry. This one, as used here has still the copper color.

Her forearm is protected with a wrapped green-colored textile. Also, her upper arm is wrapped in black.

Within the picture, badly visible, is also a belt in green.

The Dragon Tattoo
on her back is a dragon tattoo visible which is partially hidden by a pair of green braces. The Dragon has an Asian touch or is in general an Asian dragon. In general, I am absolutely astonished how detailed the dragon is painted.

When I do look for those details, I am wishing myself that the Kabuki Series from David Mack would find much more appreciation.
What you can’t see on the pic, but visible above is the bodysuit she is wearing in those three colored stripes. Red, white red. Even the Butt is nicely built.

The Display stand
is build in two parts but can be easily clicked together. Those are really sticky and it could be a problem if you want to disassemble them. The Painting is the symbol for Kabuki. Built on the Display stand is also a lamp in Japanese design. The Figurine is on screwed onto the hexagonal display stand who is looking like Marmor with fine white lines. I do like the design but I am not understanding why it has two parts.

Packaging

The Figurine gets delivered in a safety Packaging like it is standard of the Femme Fatales Series. Ukiko is also packed inside this packaging within a blister box which is her real packaging.

Bottom Line
with 267 grams and 24.8 cm tall is this figurine is an absolute jewel within my collection. I do own already some other Femme Fatales from Star trek. But this one is seriously my number one.

If you want to purchase her, you may find her on Amazon.
