So – last dismantling was just roughly made to ensure i can better store it. Now – this dismantling is to make it ready for recoloring.

The color i have choosen is close to the original. As the Vespa color is something who would be specificly mixed for me i decided against it and searched in the internet for a matching color.

i finally figured out that the best matching color is “Peugeot EJE” and i ordered it. A matching rate of 97.8% seems fantastic. 70Euro in total for 3 times white paint as basis, the red-ish color and a clear 2k coat on top seems to be perfect.

I started to grind the Vespa again and again, using a 2k filler where applicable. And grinding again with 1200 sanding paper.

i washed her several times and used silicon remover. as the weather is not burning and there is no dust in the air, I decided to finally spray her and make her red.
