Doing two restaurations at the same time with limited space – require more agility on moving the bodyworks to the side or move it up and down or even turn it horizontal to work on the down side or upper side…
For that reason the concept with some more words is written below.
moving around –
means i need to have last the weight of the bodywork of around 400 Kilogram on it. i found rolls who can wear a weight of each 100kg. for safety reasons i would use 4 on each side.
moving it up and down –
Car Jacks – one of each side would be required to lift up or down. i need some bolts to adjust it in a specific height. Then i need to add below an extra element to lift it again.
Circulating it around –
that mean it require an mechanism who is stable enough to turn the whole car.
attaching the body –
I have seen variations where the car is screwed on the bumper location. Issue1 – the front of the spider does not have front bumper connection possibilities. That means it need to fit through the bumper location on the engine mount.
Issue 2 – the heck of the Bertone will be totally removed and rebuild. I require a possibility to lift the car by attaching it on the rear axe connectors.
However – as two Rotisserie would not work in this space. I do decided that i also build a simple modular build solution to drive a body around.
Here is a sketch about the modular concept.

Lets the fun start
First – I cutted with my Angle Grinder several available metal elements into pieces where i do believe they are in the correct size.

2. Now i welded – kind of shoes where the wheels can be attached beyond.

3. now i grinded the welds and have drilled a lot of holes into it to assemble the parts together. due to the fact that all wheels can move in all direction, there was no need to ensure that all wheels are in parallel / square position to each other and i decided for a variation in a trapeze form. This is adding a better stability to the ground frame. You would be still able to have some joint twisting but i am prepared for it. If you zoom into the picture, you can see above that there are additional metal frames surrounding the inner rod. Target is now to weld the surrounding pieces together which is adding extra stability to it and is removing the availability for twisting the frame.
i finally moved on it with my full weight and did some small jumps to see if anything is bending. and Yes even with my weight of 10X KG it was not causing any issue. As the weight is more on the outer area and based on physical laws the possibility of bending is quite limited.
