Today is Mark IX in Print, the digital Stuff took really a while as it took a lot of small improvement. A removal of a 1mm cube there, and adding something on the same size as well on different positions. The Door is designed as a one part door at the moment and you can see it below in green color. I also added holes for screws to ensure the parts can stick together and can not break after the kit is assembled. I also build initial backwalls to the inner shuttle parking/ area. From my humple part of view should that work.
However there is still a lot of stuff to do. In some areas is my usage Skills in Freecad not good enough which need some additional knowledge…
So far, 30h time is gone to design the shuttle bay – still a lot to do…
I have decided to avoid showing to much. The current result is alreadz incredible and within the 6 hours of printing the piece, i continued to work on the previous model and marked 16 additional improvements where i do see some possibilities for implementation…
As next part i do present the building of the inner light – warp nacelles first…
