Sunday 7:12 am, as early riser i have worked already for some hours. The Cat woke up in the meanwhile and is laying on the chair.

My Beta-Model is ready. Beta because it is just the basic form and some final elements are still missing. The Pro about Clay is the possibility to modeling with it as it never gets really hard, the Cons is the same.
However i do need a hard body to build the final outline for grinding etc..

for the underside – i do start identical. I cutted the plastic template and put the first layer of clay on it, softly pushing and cutting the clay at the edge of the template.

On this layer I have to put the next form and removed the clay , which isn’t required from the edge. the modeling-knife and cutter-knifes are ideal for it.on der Knete abtragen kann was zu viel ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterward i do worked on the next layer which will be put on the old on the previou again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it is a three dimensional Model, i do have to measure the thickness to avoid that the Raven gets to fat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now i do need to cut the raw-form of the Warp-Nacelles. The Parts are afterwards applied on glue within a plastic Box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As next step it need to dry and get harder.<\/p>\n\n\n
