OK… Today is my first day to modeling something. As template, i do use the Eaglemoss variant of the USS Raven which is in Scale 1:750 available. Therefore i need to reach at the end the half size of the model.

With the caliper gauge i take the size and recalculate it in Excel.

Afterwards I do paint it piece by piece on a plastic sheet.

The reason for the usage of plastic is that i can easily scratch on the edge to generate a straight cut. That means the modeling is much easier to perform as in this size are those edges not easily to build.

After i have done it, I really started to work with Clay and created a first reviewable model.

Currently is this model absolutely not ideal build, but the raw-form is recognizable. For a Beta-prototype it seems to be enough.
